Support services to help you address challenging issues you may face.
What will my day-to-day look like as a Direct Support Professional? Provide opportunities through the day to help residents meet their goals.
Adhere to the person-centered plans, and behavior plans as written for each resident.
Provide quality of care and safe and healthy setting free from harm while upholding the rights of all residents.
Create a space of trust and relationship with all residents.
Cook meals as necessary for residents based upon food specifications, diets, food exchanges and documentation.
Transport residents and attend appointments, advocate, and obtain necessary documentation, when needed.
Assist with supervision of residents doing their laundry and complete facility laundry as needed.
Administer medications to residents as needed.
Must remain awake and immediately accessible in all homes requiring 24/7 care.

We are looking for a Direct Support Professional to provide support to individuals in the community.
Responsibilities Assist individuals with their daily living activities Assist with eating and drinking needs Provide social and emotional support Work one-on-one with individuals to help them perform basic tasks Encourage and assist individuals to perform desired activities Track individual progress and monitor development Report changes in individual's physical or mental condition or behavior to the Director of Services or the Supervisor for follow up or scheduling purposes Document information in a timely manner for billing purposes Comply with all agency policies and procedures in support of individuals and families Be a team player! Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required.
Associates Degree preferred.
Minimum of one (1) year experience working with individuals in a care setting preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with clients at all levels from basic needs to higher level goals.
Ability to communicate effectively with families, co-workers, and the community.
