Requirements of the Construction Billing Manager:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or economics required.
Construction industry experience is a must.
Solid leadership skills.

years of progressive accounting management experience with at least 6 direct reports.
3
years in Job cost and billing.
POC experience is highly desirable.
Ability to coach and build teams.
Strong analysis capabilities.
Able to provide support in a multi company, multi division work environment.
Technical skills:
with Microsoft Office including intermediate to advanced Excel.
Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive experience desired.
Experience with Doc-Link document management system a plus.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) & Key2Act (formerly Wennsoft) a major plus.
Duties of the Construction Billing Manager:
Responsible for managing the billing and job-cost teams.
Hands on management.
Delegation of work.
Pitching in when needed to meet deadlines.
Providing support for escalated issues.
Researching issues and finding solutions.
Identifying trends and performing variance analysis.
Looking for trends through data.
Reviewing margins and following up with appropriate staff members.
Building relationships with other teams.
Management reporting.
Responsible for hitting weekly performance production goals/metrics.
Interaction with management and sales team.
