Summary:
The Service Writer is responsible for assisting customers and co-workers with needs in the service and sales departments.
This role is the liaison between customers and service techs and customer service staff.
This role requires a high need of adaptability and flexibility helping in many different departments of Woodland Airstream, as well as being able to navigate the customer service experience through initiating conversations, identifying needs, and building strong relationships.
Job Duties Include:
Excellent customer relations skills and professional work attire and appearance.
Punctuality and dependability conducive to teamwork.
Adaptability and Flexibility; ability to change tasks as related to in-store customer being the priority.
Cash handling and cash register transactions.
Computers skills needed.
Ability to communicate in a professional manner - via email, phone and in person.
Service assistance with cashiering and estimates Warranty assistance for customers Troubleshooting issues with customers on recent sale units Service floor tech assistance Writing repair orders Inputting information in the service database Maintaining service schedule, maintenance records, and customer information Additional duties as may be assigned.
Work Conditions:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to stand,walk, bend, stoop, balance and use arms and hands to reach, pull, push, clasp and move avariety of materials.
Must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 poundsfrequently.
