1 year experience as a technician or scribe preferred, COA or COT a plus.
We offer training for technicians who need to add to their skills.
We provide the full range of eye care including an on-site optical.
JOB DESCRIPTION for Ophthalmic Technician A technician assists an ophthalmologist or optometrist in preparing a patient for eye examination.
Their work up would include obtaining a detailed history, performing measurements and refraction.
They would be familiar with ophthalmic devices such as a visual field or an OCT.
A technician would also assist in scribing with an eye care professional and providing patient education.
