Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Banquet Manager to assist our Event & Banquet Director to ensure the successful execution of events.
The Assistant Banquet Manager will be responsible for coordinating aspects of banquets, including planning, organizing, and executing events to meet and exceed client expectations.
This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning, coordinating, and the execution of banquets and special events - Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements and create customized event plans - Manage banquet staff - Ensure all banquet areas are set up according to event specifications - Monitor event timelines and make adjustments as necessary to ensure smooth operations - Work closely with the culinary team to coordinate food preparation and presentation - Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional manner - Conduct regular inspections of banquet areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to safety regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience in coffee or food service management is highly desirable - Strong background in hospitality industry with knowledge of banquet operations - Proven experience in shift management and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for event planning purposes We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
