Controls Engineer
EDUCATION:
Two year Technical Degree
SKILLS:
Minimum four years of experience
Candidate must be able to work autonomously, have problem solving skills and good communication skills
Must be familiar with Allen-Bradley PLC's, Fanuc robots, Cognex Vision Systems, and Keyence Vision Systems. Siemens S7 PLC's experience is a plus
Responsibilities:
Implementing, designing, developing, installing, managing and or maintaining equipment which is used to monitor and control engineering systems, machinery and processes.
Responsible for internal manufacturing improvement projects and overseeing electrical build and installation.
Maintaining all plant floor PLC, Robotic cells and Vision equipment.
Evaluation of pre-manufactured equipment being considered for purchase ensuring adherence to design specifications and requirements with primary focus on machine controls, efficiency, reliability, and preventative maintenance.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
