Account Management Assistant

We are currently seeking an account management assistant for our Clarkston based floor covering operation. Daily duties include scheduling jobs, reviewing purchase orders, email communications with project managers, customer service follow up, creating work orders for repairs and other account management skills.
Preferred candidate should have general work experience, ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet tight deadlines in a challenging work environment. Must also be able to work both independently, without direction and as an integral part of a busy team, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work quickly and proficiently using computer-based database software. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in the flooring industry. General computer skills a must.
This position is a great stepping stone to a career into a sales / account management position within our company. Position may require some local travel. Valid drivers license and reliable transportation is a must.
This is a salary position with a typical work week averaging 45 hours.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
