Nonprofit Executive Director

North Oakland Headwaters Land Conservancy (NOHLC) is seeking a dynamic, articulate and experienced leader to serve as Executive Director to support the organization's mission to conserve the woods, fields, streams and other natural resources in the headwaters area of the Clinton, Shiawassee, Huron and Flint Rivers.
The Executive Director will be responsible for overall leadership, operational management, and financial performance of the organization. Reporting to and working closely with the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will be responsible for strategic planning and execution, partnership building in the public and private sectors, and developing the funding base.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a candidate experienced in fund development and grant writing, who is motivated to build and foster regional collaborative partnerships, recruit and train staff and volunteers, and serve as public representative for NOHLC with media at community events. The ideal candidate must have successful experience in fundraising and a strong interest in land conservation.

North Oakland Headwaters Land Conservancy is dedicated to preserving the unique natural resources of Michigan's northwest Oakland County. It is a private, non-profit, community supported, citizen run organization with 43 years of experience in preserving open space in northwest Oakland County and nearby communities. NOHLC currently protects over 50 properties and over 1500 acres of land. In 2013, NOHLC earned accreditation by the Land Trust Alliance. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
