This position requires the employee to use the Microsoft business applications (Word, Excel), QuickBooks for Manufacturing, Internet Browsers, etc. The applicant must be able to read a inventory managerial report and keep our production team in a constant supply of parts. It is required to understand what reorder points and reorder quantities are. Applicant will be creating part numbers, purchase orders, handle incoming and outgoing shipments, receive parts into QuickBooks, etc.
Summary/Objective
The inventory control coordinator position manages inventory through database and maintain levels required on a daily basis to meet distribution demands.

Enter data for quantities of parts issued and transferred between locations, inventory and cycle count adjustments, into computer database.
Close shop packets received and purge computer database.
Receive and issue finished goods into computer database.
Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection personnel.
Record and monitor all items with shelf-life daily and notify appropriate personnel when material has expired.
Prepare monthly reports for cycle count and pick-lists count for monthly highlights.
Prepare and participate in yearly physical inventory.
